"Franz Shubert"

Birthdate: April 8, 2024

Color: Black Badger HST (Ram)

FBA # 35459

Franz is a stunning black badger ram. He was born here as a twin to a first-time mom. He likely carries silvering genes from his dam and grand-dam. His sire was a stocky brown badger with a quiet and calm personality. Franz stands out the most in the ram pen for his beautiful silver wool. Our favorite thing about Franz is the beautiful dark grey that he exhibits on most of his fleece! He is one of the most dominant rams in our flock. We hope Franz throws his beautiful colors into his lambs!

 Birthdate: April 3, 2024

Color: Brown Piebald (Ram)

FBA #  35460

Johann is a triplet brown piebald with dalmatian spotting covering his whole body, but it only shows when he is shorn. Some dalmatian spots are visible on his legs. He also has two brown spots on his back and an eye patch around his left eye. Johann has a beautiful long and crimped fleece combining the favorable qualities from his sire's and dam's fleeces. He likes receiving attention from people. We hope Johann passes on his desirable colors and fleece quality!

Birthdate: May 19, 2022

Color: Brown Piebald (Ram)

FBA # 33579

This handsome fellow was bought from a farm in MA with strong milking genetics, as we were looking to add piebald genes into our flock as well as some milking lines. Legolas displays the beautiful brown piebald spotting all over his body. He also has a bunch of brown dalmation spotting mixed in, and it looks gorgeous at shearing! Legolas has excellent conformation. We have been quite impressed with the genetics he has thrown into his lambs, including our first ever reverse badger ewe! Legolas' fleece is evenly crimped, dense, and beautiful in color.

Ross 36 "Faramir" - - >

Birthdate: April 9, 2024
Color: Solid Brown (Ram)

FBA # 35287

Faramir is a triplet solid brown ram. He came from another farm in Maine. We bought him with the goal in mind of breeding for more solid brown lambs. Faramir is extremely calm and very friendly. His lambs will surely be the best cuddlers! He is at the bottom of the pecking order in our group of rams. Faramir has a dark brown fleece with no white on his entire body except for the little dot on his nose.

 < - - Finnegan

Color: Solid White (Wether)

We bought Finnegan as a week-old lamb in April of 2020, thinking we would have him as a pet. After a year, his job was to keep our new ram company as a wether when he wasn't with the ladies. He is the sweetest gentleman in the ram pen, and always stands at the fence ready for attention. He is the largest sheep we have. No other has even rivaled him in size so far! Finnegan has a long and beautifully crimped white fleece, and with all his surface area, he yields a heavy bag of wool!

Mr. Darcy - - >

Birthdate: March 19, 2025

Color: Solid White (Wether)

Mr. Darcy is from Addie. We decided to keep him as a pet, as Addie is getting older, and we want to keep her legacy here through her offspring. Mr. Darcy has a luxurious fleece. He has a single-coated, perfectly crimped fleece with tons of luster! We cannot wait to use his fleece in wool creations. Mr. Darcy has his mother's personality, as he always comes over for attention so calmly and patiently. If you stop petting him, he will nudge you to ask for more! Mr. Darcy will stay at Fox Farm as a fiber wether.

Franz, Faramir, and Johann              as young rams.
